  • Yukiyama Village

A quaint little village in the northern areas of Rinko, Yukiyama is a small community whose residents still tell myths and legends passed down to them by previous generations. The people here are typically pretty hospitable and are happy to share their tales and shelter travelers from the outside snow and cold that is around all year.

  • Yuikiyama Mountain Range

A large set of mountains with filled with intricate caverns that carry underground lakes with strange crystals that illuminate the area. These crystals serve no use or value as far as civilization is concerned, and even so are protected under law by a National Reserve for the pokemon within the area for pokemon poaching, and this includes mining the crystals within. Trainers are still allowed to catch pokemon here since the population of pokemon have risen drastically since the reserve was formed, and is still there to protect the crystals should they ever be discovered to have value.

Watching over Rockpoint Mountain is Cysil City, a bustling mining town built partially inside the mountains. Some it lies on the outside, but the inside if the mountain has been hollowed out to let the miners and other residents live inside. It isn't uncommon to see a Pokémon that came from the mines wandering in the streets, and most people just leave them alone as long as the Pokémon doesn't hurt anyone.

Once you leave the coast and head more into the mainland to the north, you'll come across these majestic mountains, home to herds of Gogoat, Tyrannitar, and many other powerful pokemon that can thrive in this harsh terrain lifestyle. There is a carved path in the mountains for traveling trainers and occasional carriages to take, its recommended to stay on the path for common-folk, and the only way for a trainer to find pokemon around here is to head off road into the dangers of the mountains.
