Personality: Lily is extremely sassy and sarcastic. If she can think of a witty retort she won't be afraid to say it. She also tends to taunt and tease both friends and enemies just for the fun of it. She's very critical and judgmental, too. Most of the time she should keep her mouth shut, but that never stopped her. She's pretty brash and cocky against most opponents, but her life on the streets has taught her to not underestimate certain parts of her opposition.

Other than her snarky comments Lily keeps a cool and tough demeanor. Sometimes it's a farce, but on the other hand it can often be a genuine part of her character. Still, she's learned to keep the mask up to suppress her strong emotions. She does it to protect herself, to make herself more intimidating. She could definitely hold her own in a fight, however. Behind her scrawny and weak looking self is surprising strength.

One emotion passes through her cold and aloof farce: anger. You do not want to tick Lily off; her coolness can easily change into shrill scream and violence. She does her best to keep her anger tapped, but as you aggravate her she'll slowly become less calm and more irritable.

Lily hates big groups of people and prefers to work alone with her Pokémon. If you haven't guessed, she doesn't work very well with others. When she is interacting with others she will often get herself into the leader position, giving out commands and expecting them to be followed. She hates following and will only go through with what she likes. If you ask her to do something she doesn't agree with, she'll probably just ignore you.

By managing to earn her respect Lily will eventually accept you as a friend. It doesn't matter your background or race or gender or anything like that; if she likes you she'll stick around, and if she doesn't she'll simply leave you. Those who she does call friends are lucky as she will stand up for you and help you. Those who she opens up to can see a different side to her. What used to be cold can become warm. She'll happily laugh and mess around with you. She tends to banter a lot, too. All these actions are typically reserved for her Pokémon and she'll get embarrassed if someone she doesn't trust notices her personality change. If she does trust you, however, expect a friend for life.

Appearance: Lily is... not very attractive, to say the least. She's around the average height for a girl her age and very scrawny, almost to the point of what some might deem starvation and has a nearly flat chest. Her lanky limbs are long proportionately to her wispy figure and her skin is lightly tanned and unshaven, not to mention rough with scratches, scabs, and scrapes.

Lily has a pointed face with gray-blue eyes that feign apathy and coolness. Her short, think hair is blonde with a slightly orange tint and almost always is covered by her dark gray knit cap; she had cut it shoddily on her own. Over her right eye are long bangs that she's used to hanging in her face and will rarely clip them back.

Without much money to pay for clothing - or much of anything for that matter - Lily has only a few articles of clothing. Her worn out red and white sneakers are normally on and she keeps a couple pairs of socks. She has a pair of brown shorts along with a pair of dark gray sweats. She also has a gray pullover hoodie normally tied around her waist and a couple tops: a tank top and a t-shirt, both originally white but yellowed and stained by now.

History: Lily was born in Castelia City to a loving mother and father and had a normal early childhood until she reached the age of 8. That was the year her mother died in an accident at her work. She trained disobedient Pokémon for a living and her death was and still is kept unknown to her. Her father began to fall into a depression without his wife, and Lily soon caught on but knew little on how to help. She tried to stay out of her dad's problems, thinking they'd get better.

Lily's father began to take up drinking and to avoid his drunken tendencies Lily would spend most of the day outside on the city streets. Many days she would stay out there all day. She began learning how to take care of herself out there, too.

When she was 11, other tenants in her father's apartment complex finally caught on and reported the neglect toward Lily. The girl, who had taught herself to pick up on things like this, found that if this continued she'd be sent away to be cared for by someone else. Over the years she had grown to like living on the streets on her own and didn't want to be taken away by someone who actually cared. She wanted to be on her own, even if it meant facing homelessness. She packed the few belongings she had and soon ran away. Lily never knew what happened to her father after that, but didn't care much. He was never there for her, so she did her best to cut him out of her life. She was now alone and didn't mind.

Soon a storm came, however. Lily was stuck out in it late at night, unable to find a Pokémon Center or similar shelter to hide herself from the heavy rain. She found herself in an alley, cowering under a tiny awning, hoping not to freeze. It was there that she saw a Scraggy in a similar predicament: alone, cold, and wet, just like she was herself. They survived the storm together and bonded the best they could in the horrible conditions. Without acknowledging this, they began working together to stay alive together. The Scraggy was deemed Spike.

A year later Lily found herself up against an entire gang. They had found her intruding on what they deemed their turf, and although she was just 12 they wanted to get revenge on her for trespassing. A fight broke out and Lily deemed herself surprisingly strong for her age, although the gang members weren't that old themselves. They were just a band of punk kids, a few of them with similar situations to Lily. After the fight they decided to take her in under their wing and Lily joined them.

Being the youngest in the gang, Lily was expected to do as she was told and was treated as a little less equal. She hated this and wanted to lead, to stand above the rest. Over the next two years the gang grew more edgy and violent as the members grew up, and although a few years younger Lily began to realize the mistake she made in joining them in the first place.

The last straw was when the gang had come across a family of stray Shinx. There was a mother and a father and a few cubs that seemed to be very young. Thinking it would be amusing, the gang took out the parents and began tormenting the kittens. Lily stepped in and defended the young Shinx and ended up having everyone against her. Knowing she couldn't fight them all with everyone how they were now, Lily fled. Unbeknownst to her, one of the Shinx cubs came with her.

While being chased through the city streets, Lily managed to sneak onto a boat. She didn't care where it was going, but she wanted to go away. Away from the city where all of her mistakes were made, where she was alone. Wherever the ship went was where she would start her new life. It wasn't until she boarded it that she realized one of the cubs had come with her, and since it seemed willing Lily put it into her team with Spike.

The ship carried varied cargo to somewhere Lily didn't know of. She was able to find technology she might need and simply stole it thinking nobody would notice (nobody did that she knew of). There were also various eggs being carried along, too. Lily managed to grab one, curious as to what was inside.

After a few days in hiding, Lily's ship docked in Candencia City, Rinko. Sneaking off, she headed off to start her new life as... Whatever she wanted to be.

Extra: She has a brown bag and a swiss army knife with her.

Pokémon Nature/Personality: Being just an orphaned cub, Spark is a timid and skittish Shinx who needs some coaxing to socialize with strangers. She looks up to Spike as if he was her older brother. In Lily's company she is a lot more playful.
