Greenville is a very simple town, almost to the point of being too simple. Possibly the only thing putting it on the map is the farms that supply food to Rinko, along with its contest hall. The buildings, people, and history are all plain and simple and there isn't very much to note about it. There's obviously nothing fishy going on around here...

  • Dendo Plains

A large and wide field of nothing but tall grass, few trees, and bushes to dot the field. Large pokemon and trainers can be spotted miles away in this bright green area, but pokemon are rarely spotted first due to most of the types that live here are small and quick. Electric types also seem to favor this place because of the frequent thunderstorms, but there has been a rather odd a frequent sighting of steel types moving into the area.

  • Sablepine County

A dark county covered in thick blankets of fog that are rarely clear, this place is known for sightings of strange forms within the fog that seemed to always be running away from the direction of the volcano. The locals have come to know these forms as ghosts that still thought the volcano was erupting from long ago. The volcano is still active, but it has yet to erupt after a hundred years.

  • Sable Forest

A grand and dark forest named after a hero who has once saved the county that makes its home within it. It was unknown whether this hero was a pokemon or a person, only the memory of the name "Sable" and that this "Sable" had somehow rescued it. The forest is home to plenty of grass and dark types, along with some ghost types who seemed to be turning more and more hostile the more people who pass through Sable forest.

Between the towering trees of this forest an intricate network of bridges, ladders, lifts and other contraptions connects the multitude of tree houses high up above the ground. On ground level a temple built by some ancient civilization can be found, attracting many professional and hobbyist explorers and adventurers as well as quite a few archaeologists and scientists. While the town may not be very technologically advanced, its rustic charm and the friendliness of its inhabitants more than make up for it.

  • Seicho Jungle Depths

A luscious jungle filled with a variety of pokemon, new and old. A strange temple lies somewhere within the jungle, which was once used to worship a powerful pokemon. The temple attracts many explorers and adventurers that try to make their ways through the Jungle, and end up lost. The Temple has still yet to be explored, for every report shows that a strange pokemon seems to lead even the most determined of explorers away and make them lost in the jungle itself.

  • Caden Coast

As the route leads from the jungle of Seicho onto this lovely beach, the exotic lifestyle fades into a calm and relaxing one. The beach looks void of pokemon to the untrained eye, as the pokemon around here have become experts at hiding in order to conceal themselves from the common fisherman who fish off the shores in search of a rumored Golden Magikarp.

A quaint little village in the northern areas of Rinko, Yukiyama is a small community whose residents still tell myths and legends passed down to them by previous generations. The people here are typically pretty hospitable and are happy to share their tales and shelter travelers from the outside snow and cold that is around all year.

  • Yuikiyama Mountain Range

A large set of mountains with filled with intricate caverns that carry underground lakes with strange crystals that illuminate the area. These crystals serve no use or value as far as civilization is concerned, and even so are protected under law by a National Reserve for the pokemon within the area for pokemon poaching, and this includes mining the crystals within. Trainers are still allowed to catch pokemon here since the population of pokemon have risen drastically since the reserve was formed, and is still there to protect the crystals should they ever be discovered to have value.

  • Cysil City

Watching over Rockpoint Mountain is Cysil City, a bustling mining town built partially inside the mountains. Some it lies on the outside, but the inside if the mountain has been hollowed out to let the miners and other residents live inside. It isn't uncommon to see a Pokémon that came from the mines wandering in the streets, and most people just leave them alone as long as the Pokémon doesn't hurt anyone.

  • Rockpoint Mountain

Once you leave the coast and head more into the mainland to the north, you'll come across these majestic mountains, home to herds of Gogoat, Tyrannitar, and many other powerful pokemon that can thrive in this harsh terrain lifestyle. There is a carved path in the mountains for traveling trainers and occasional carriages to take, its recommended to stay on the path for common-folk, and the only way for a trainer to find pokemon around here is to head off road into the dangers of the mountains.

A city that stands tall among the storms of the Sunashi Desert, a wall surrounds it that keeps both hostile outsiders and sandstorms out as the ever raging storms bash themselves against the badly placed town.

  • Sunashi Desert

The roaring sandstorms of the Sunashi leave weary travelers blinded as they try to make their way to the city with tall walls that stand within it. The Sunashi is known for its frequent sandstorms, along with the dunes nearby that the sand tends to pile upon. The blazing sun from above beats down on any without cover, giving them more than just a slight tan.

Solumina City is Rinko's shining capital. With its bright lights, towering skyscrapers, and busy streets, it is easily recognizable as one the largest city in the region. It is also one of the most modern, where almost everything there seems to be new and shiny. Many of Rinko's most important trainer based events are held here.

  • Trainer's Paradise

Here is one of the best places in Rinko to meet up with others to battle, exchange Pokémon, and even just to simply spectate the others. It is a large park with battlefields dotted around and lots of nature in the shape of a large disk. In the center is a large plaza with many more trainer services.
